The Saville Arms is another of Mirfield Stags’ proud legacy partners, having been a close supporter of the club since its inception.
Many of the club’s events have been staged at what has become one of Mirfield’s most well-visited destinations and their branding has appeared on the Stags’ playing apparel since 2015.
Situated on Lee Green, within walking distance of the Mirfield’s Hillrich Park home, the popular public house is often visited by Stags players and supporters and is headed up by proud landlord Rachel Woodhead.
Rachel and her partner, Mark, are huge supporters of the club and right behind its aims for the future.
The Saville Arms features heaps of Stags branding inside, including an area of the building which essentially acts as a form of a shrine.
Rachel said: “The Stags are a massive part of the local community and we are happy to play our part in that.
“As a public house, we serve the local community. The Stags is like a home to several our visitors and we love to welcome players and coaching staff here.
“We are proud to sponsor the club, particularly when we feature on some exciting ideas which the club come up with in terms of kit designs.
“It is going to be good to see where the club goes in the years ahead and we look forward to continuing to play a part in that.”
